What does it take to be truly happy?
What is happiness??
Is it getting money and lots of it? Finding a lover? Getting your dream body? Getting a child? WHAT DOES HAPPINESS MEAN TO YOU? DOES IT EVEN EXIST?As we all know most things in life come in two's, opposites if you may.
We get up and down, big and small, good bad etc. So having said that, it begs the question, is the opposite of happiness sadness? And if the answer is yes then does that mean that when you get the one thing you always said would make you happy you no longer going to experience the feelings of sadness?
Is it possible that we as people are selfish beings that simply want and want even more out of life? So you finally get the job of your dreams or the dream lover you have been fantasizing about, are you going to be eternally joyous or will there still be a void in your heart? Now some people say complete joy can only be attained once you give your heart to Jesus or God, may be so but then again there are lots of miserable christian people out there.
Well I do not know the answer to this question, if you happen to find out, PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

RIP to Mike Jenkins
Mike Jenkins, a big man and a true champion.
While in Dubai sometime last year I browsed through the shelves of a local supermarket when I stumbled across a stack of fitness and bodybuilding magazines that where for sale, now naturally I was drawn to them because such things appeal to me. I went ahead and bought one and boy am I glad I did.
I learned a lot from the magazine but then I also learned more about the sport of 'Strong man' and how it worked. Its is a sport where top athletes compete against each other by lifting irregular shaped objects and go through obstacle courses of some kind to prove who amongst them was the strongest.
That's when I was introduced to Mike Jenkins, a young but massive and very muscular athlete who took the competition by storm and he competed very well too. He was born on the 3rd of November in 1982 in a town called Westminster, Maryland.
Mike won the 2010 Arnold Amateur Strongman and went on to compete in America's Strongest Man competition later that year and placed 2nd.
In 2012 he was the overall winner of the Arnold Strong Man classic.
Sadly in 2013 he died due to some complications with his heart, he passed away on his birth month of November. He is survived by a wife and kid.
He will always be a champion and may his soul rest in peace.
HOW TO LOSE BELLY FAT.
Everyone has fat underneath their skin, even people with flat tummies or rock hard abs.
There is another type of fat called 'visceral fat' that is found deeper in the body around organs such as the heart, lungs, liver and many more. Now the reason for this fat in such places is to cushion those vital organs, but like everything else, too much of it is very bad for you my friend.
This type of fat can cause diseases such as High blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease and even breast cancer. So to be on the safer side, as a woman you might want to keep your waist size below 35 inches and men below 40.
There are four effective ways to control your weight gain, exercise, sleep, diet and stress management.
*Get on programme and workout atleast four times a week
*Sufficient sleep is vital, teenagers should get between 8-9 hours sleep and adults between 7-8.
*Manage your stress by taking walks, talking to someone and expressing yourself, listening to relaxing music or doing something you enjoy.
*Lastly eat healthy, read articles online that concern healthy eating and drink a lot of water.

THIN PEOPLE CAN HAVE THAT TYPE OF FAT TOO.

Do not worry, results will come :)))))
Too many of us get demotivated after working out in the gym for a few weeks and see no change, understandable but not good, Nothing in this world remains the same after something has been done to it, some things may work slower than others just like some people's muscle develop faster than others. That does not mean you are not getting any change, sometimes muscles and flat tummies, toned butts etc. develop inside out. Be honest with yourself and admit that there has been a little change.
Above are some photos of myself at different stages in my life with different sizes. I do apologize if they are not clear, I do like to have a little fun with pictures. I live life more on the artistic side. The last photo was photo shopped a little bit, this was for me to see what I would look like at that particular size. Enjoy.
Tik ok...live your life.
What is the most valuable thing you have right now?
Hey you! Awesome person that is reading this right now, tell me what do you personally own that is valuable and belongs to you? I know many of you will immediatley start thinking of your kids, your homes, cars or even bank account balances etc. Well sorry to burst your bubble but none of those things belong to you, here is how:
Kids- Your children are just in your care for the time being for obvious reasons like them relying on an adult to get through life in their early stages, and they will stick around when they are older depending on how you raise them, but no matter how much they love you, they too have to move out one day and start famiies of their own, it is nothing cruel it is merely a fact of life. On the other hand we have the question of death, what if they die before you?
Material goods like houses, cars and money disappear too. We all know they too do not last forever. Think of the old mobile phone that you once cherished and is now broken down or lost, it could have been a computer, item of jewelery or even a car, the point is we do not have much in our possesion that is really valuable and everlasting....all we have is NOW, and by now I mean time.
Time is all you have! And it is all you need.
TIME= LIFE.
The seconds that are passing by right now, this very moment on your watch are turning into minutes and those minutes into hours and those hours in to YOUR LIFE. Time is precious ( I am sure you have heard that before) but think about it, time is the only reason you are still alive, it is not your time to die yet, so before that runs out, make those seconds and hours count. You do not have to go save the world or climb Mount Everest but you can do the simple things that matter like take care of your body and get the most out of it while you still using it, laugh, spend time with your children, use this time now to tell your partner you love them, it is the only thing we have a little control over in this life.
The past is the past, no matter how good or bad it was and the the future has not happened yet so forget about it too. ALL YOU HAVE IS NOW.
